Yiannis was born and grew up in Athens.

His involvement with the sea began from early on, first as a skin diver and then as a scuba diver.

His development in scuba diving was phenomenal, as within 1 year of being certified (Open Water) with the Stavros Bakandreas, he managed to log over 100 dives.

His development was as expected.

In 3 years he had become Dive Instructor. Despite this his training did not stop.

He is instructor with as many organizations as possible, and today is the core staff of Paralos Diving Academy as well as…

Pediatric First Aid Instructor

Advantages:

Low key, calm, patient and with extensive knowledge in matters of diving medicine, search and rescue, orientation, maintenance and repair of diving equipment.

Disadvantages:

Cannot stay out of the water too long – his skin dries up.

Characteristic:

When other instructors need a 15 lt. tank, Yiannis dives with a 6 lt one. (When you meet him, look for the gills behind his ears).
